94 quakes today (just the 1.5 and higher) , and there are still almost 6 hours left. God knows how many were under 1.5, probably hundreds.

Most above 1.5, all shallower then 10 km depth, several over 2, and several over 3.

I think we have a week (more or less) before a potential eruption.

I checked Ben Davidson's daily report for 9-15-2021
and was disappointed to see that he didn't even put
..."A TOE IN THE WATER" to report on the La Palma development.
He's usually more on top of things than this but just
put out a bunch of science papers today. He and Diamond

so unless he is on an Alaska Cruise for vacation, I'm sure
the 2 guys have discussed this. Here is the link...maybe

And just in case anyone wants to keep an eye on a real time spectrograph from a working station on Tenerife, the island next door to La Palma, you can watch that here:

[link to www.youtube.com (secure)]

The station is at the bottom right of the last panel.

Since this station is about 80km away from the quake swarm at La Palma, it is only showing the larger 3+ quakes. However, if the flank collapsed, there is no question this would be visible in the form of a lot of low red on the spectro. This is live data in real time, and there will be no faster notification of a massive landslide at La Palma.

How fast it went from 15 km depth to 7-8 km and shallower. Which was roughly 4 days.

Another 3-4 days before the lava gets to 2 km before it starts to accumulate, with gas.

Probably another 2-3 days before the pressure starts deforming the earth in the range of meters.

From that point, an eruption is virtually 100% certain, and the longer it takes to erupt, the worst it will be, potentially dislocating a huge mass of land that will slide in the ocean.

The quake swarms are now moving west (under sea level), which I believe to be really bad news, because the potential eruption might take place under sea, which is also UNDER the mass of land that could break.

An eruption in the "middle" of the swarm quake area that was until yesterday, would had far less chances to provoke a slide, but an underwater eruption will create a pressure upwards on the land mass in question, which will add more chances for that land mass to break up (when it is moved up by the undersea eruption) and fall into the ocean.

Also, the deeper an undersea eruption is, the bigger the land mass above is.

Best case scenario is an accidental eruption in the next 3 days, because there won't be enough pressure to create accumulated to create a break-up of a significant land mass.

Yeah I noticed this too.

Personally, I think Ben is being censored, just a gut feeling.

Do you remember last year, he announced on the daily show that his channel was one a few specifically selected by a senator or whatever to put forward to be removed from YouTube?

Maybe I missed it, but nothing came of it, it just went away.

But I felt that after that, the "tone" of his reports changed. Nothing I can specially put a finger on, but I just felt he speculated less and stuck to science more (I know he always backed by science, but you know what I mean).

I noted one day in particular, for no reason someone posted a comment something about incoming asteroids, and Ben specifically replied to that comment and said "zzz on the asteroid talk". I found that really weird.

In several recent daily updates, he has briefly touched on something quite significant/big, and sort of said "veteran observers will see what this is..." kind of evasive but hinting at something he cannot come out and say.

My gut feeling is he was told to stick to science and minimal speculation on forthcoming doom, or be shut down.

He weighed it up, and felt it better to work within the parameters given to at least continue to inform us.

The fact that he has not even mentioned this (Cumbre Vieja) to me is big then.

Its an interesting event, even if he does not think its doom on, either way, its something you'd expect him to cover.

The fact that he ignores it and doesn't perhaps want to speculate given my theory above makes me think he thinks its doom on, but cannot come out and say it.

I could be totally wrong of course.

Clownworld.

Your former little neighbor country will continue to be permanenty in tyranny even if you geniuses are tricked into thinking you "voted" Trudeau out.

And let this stupid minion explain to you why: the NEW WORLD ORDER is being rolled out simultaneously in every nation around the world.

Last year you and the rest of Canada's arrogant formerly US-protected geniuses gave away your last rights to self arm because of a STAGED mass shooting spree. And then after that move to completely disarm you Canadian geniuses was completed, guess what came next?

The same kind of tyrannical rollout observed numerous times in other nations throughout the last few hundred years.

This is going to happen everywhere. Canada as a sovereign nation is OVER.

You are not special. Canadians have never been anymore special than the perameters of the misplaced Brit-French borne ego problem you fools always had while relying on the nation south of you to protect you.

You will learn the truth even though according to you the stupid minions figure out first and the geniuses figure it out last.

If you still trust your political system- surely you trust the shots too right?

Depends on how big the Atlantic side wave would be as it entered the Gulf water south of the FL peninsula, but it would be significantly less than the East Coast impact due to the geographic layout...still swelling and flooding the coast and up into the Miss river basin etc...

I have a canoe. Does it make more sense to paddle out to see than to risk getting stuck in traffic? How far would I need to go?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78246272

At least out past the new -to be defined at doom time- megatsunami surf zone.
Length from shore for the new tsunami event surf zone i.e., where the tidal wave(s) will finally crest and break, depends on steepness of shore slope vectored with the force and speed of the incoming monster wave.

I'd pick something with a twin outboards...not a canoe.

I’m hoping that you’re joking around. In the event that you’re not & you’re in South/Central Fl:

Get a waterproof backpack & pack
first aid kit
Granola bars/protein bars
Life straws
Quick inflate raft
Helmet
Collapsible oars
Rubber soles shoes & weather protective clothing (sun, etc)
Emergency radio, CB
Flares/emergency signaling device
Handgun & shells

If you are south head north Central towards Gulf but not directly on Gulf. If you are Central head north away from coastlines though skew towards west coast esp farther north you get.

Look for newer reinforced concrete buildings with more than 3 stories. Not directly on coastline. These held up in the Boxing Day tsunami overall. Make sure to park your vehicle at height in parking garage.

Within one hour of an emergency broadcast of an impending tsunami in
Massachusetts Route 1, 93, 95 and the tunnels to the Mass Pike West will become a impassable parking lot and getting anywhere thru Boston IMHO will be extremely difficult. You must know what rush hour is like around Boston is…every one will be heading west to the Worchester hills and the backup at the 128 tolls will seal the fate of many stuck in their vehicles.

Sorry about not being a ray of sunshine to your circumstances. I live about
14 miles from Boston 212’ elevation…I am staying in place. Trust your inner guidance and I hope this Tsunami event cools down, but I sense we maybe in for a big natural disaster if the island really blows. Good Luck.

I've family in MA on an Island connected to the mainland by a a road called nahant that has no place high enough if this thing even goes 2-5 meters.
One is on O2 thanks to the covid shot. so prep time getting the injured family out, through Lynn and to safety is going to be important.

Good Luck.

I checked Ben Davidson's daily report for 9-15-2021
and was disappointed to see that he didn't even put
..."A TOE IN THE WATER" to report on the La Palma development.
He's usually more on top of things than this but just
put out a bunch of science papers today. He and Diamond
from the OppenheimerRanchProject are personal friends
so unless he is on an Alaska Cruise for vacation, I'm sure
the 2 guys have discussed this. Here is the link...maybe
I missed a quick "blerb" but I would expect it to be
his TOP STORY. ho hum....

I think you may be on to something! I've been listening to Ben for years and this topic is something the "old" Ben would have lead the charge on. His silence on this is very telling, imo! If he touched on it lightly and moved on it wouldn't seem as "suspicious" (pardon the pun) but his complete silence on this seems to indicate he's had a talking to. And if so, why the tight lid? Unless this really IS the doom we have been watching for! Time will tell.

I’m in Rio de Janeiro, my house is just 3 miles from the ocean, I can see the beach from here. The house is located 250 ft above sea level in the steps of a National Park mountains, can easily climb to 1500 ft in few minutes if necessary, but I still have an uncomfortable feeling about this, had some dreams about big waves washing away several times.

God speed us all!

3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. “ Ps 27

How many miles inland would be considered safe? An estimate?
 Quoting: Beefree1000

Florida, Eastern GA, So Carolina low and flat lands will be in serious trouble for untold miles inland.

Better odds of 30 miles or less north of there...

Although all of that depends on the size of the waves generated as well.

Someone, a view pages above, mentioned that huge granite boulders - maybe placed there by a megatsunami! are sitting on the eastward slopes of the hills - 50 miles inland!

Google about the ancient sea life fossils found in the Appalachian Mtns in the US too.

This is so true. I am 100 miles west of there. We might be fine. But power will be out forever. Pretty much the end of the world for many people.
