I think this verse in Revelation 18 is even more descriptive:

Another thing is both of these verses appear to be describing a whole, solid object. (Mountain, millstone).

Dirt & broken rocks sliding/crumbling into the ocean does not evoke that image for me.

I havent seen any photos to show "damage" because of the uplift. And anyway till now, the only thing that the locals felt werw some of the over 3 earthquakes (the biggest was a 3.5 on the 14th).
