They were barking a little while ago. On and off.

One assumption has been that the eruption of lava was relieving pressure on the underground build up of magma. But I read that ongoing earthquakes would be a significant sign too.

Who knows what Mother Earth has up her sleeve. Or not.

I am absolutely enthralled by how all of this has turned out. The massive amount of research I have done and relearned about one of my favorite topics(volcanoes) has really compiled a very serious picture for me on what this all looks like. I posted three days ago the interesting maps of live time earthquakes on my social media and no one bit, no one cared. Now that things are going off, not just La Palma, but all over, it is a lot more terrifying than say ... the "pandemic" in our own backyards. Putting together what I have learned from here and elsewhere about certain things like weather manipulation have me concerned about events like Tropical Storm Rose that's just making a right 90 degree angle to possibly head for this isle of La Palma. I am seriously asking myself wtf right now, and wishing I had real life people to sit and debate with in person about all of this...but when I try to talk in a group setting or to anyone I call friends and family, I get shut down...while live events are happening and are for real, right now! It's insane. I love all you guys here. I lurk. I sometimes post. But this, this is what it's all about.

I’ve set 5 alarms every night…since Cumbre Vieja Ridge started venting…to wake up every hour or so and check here for updates. I am a former First Responder. I can tell you that really bad shit happens so suddenly that it seems to not be “real” to observers- and the “freeze” reaction of the Fight/Flight/Freeze instinct is powerful in human psychology. When/if the fracture zone splashes down, if you are affected, execute your bug out plan immediately. DO NOT wait, DO NOT let Normalcy Bias control you. If your stuff isn’t packed already, then quickly grab whoever and whatever is most important to you and get inland. The majority of our population is unaware of the crisis or the risk and they will only react after a delay…if they feel forced to…although this threat is novel enough that a certain percentage will respond with panic. The US Government will most likely suppress any information until it’s too late. You are on your own- YOU and your ability to stay on top of this are your ONLY early warning system.

I would go and just be aware. You are more likely to have to move away from the coast there due to a hurricane or storm than a mega tsunami from this volcano. It's that time of year, when hurricanes happen and vacationers have to flee. Don't live your life in fear, or stop living out of fear of what might happen.

Well we know for a fact lava hasn't reached water yet. Hotspots /UNDER/ the water ?! Fuck me if that ain't doom... right... hotstpots. under.the.water.

Compare the data from the 1949 eruption to current event. That started the theory of the major land slide and the mega tsunamis. It makes a good starting point to figure out the next phase of the event.
