Not at all in attempt to crack wise at a time like this but the facia of the church tower kinda reminds me of Mr Bill - “OOOOHHHH NOOOOOOOOOO…….”

*Issues with potable water are being addressed so drinking water is still safe for now

*They are asking people to stay off roads unless absolutely necessary

*the earthquakes have decreased in intensity

*Air quality continues to be good overall

I do not think I will reach that, until/if water hits the vents.

Then I will worry if we start having all those powerful huge explosions.

I see the red as a badge of honor as there is little doubt that I pissed someone off....lol

I’m wondering if we are starting to see the very beginning of (volcanic) gas psychosis on parts of the population. It causes insanity at a high enough concentration. I’d be interested to know how many individuals (that have NOT been exposed to ash aerosol particulate) have developed low-level Conjunctivitis and/or mild ocular burns.

It was meltdown,
but maybe with lower, old lava flow footing still intact?

More likely the faster moving new lava, just 'eddied out' around the tower's base -assuming it's brick and mortar to the ground- and the lava heat liquified the tower base walls, thus delivering the gulp-down.

Though from this close-up view, the tower has a lot more of a wood structure look, so perhaps this was bottom burn down job or a mixture both?
But still not a river push tip over.

For the CLUE win:
The lava butler did it in the basement with the plasma cutter.

I cant believe this eruption can go for weeks or months. Every day it is more intense.
