First post on this thread but have been keeping up with it.
I just can't shake what some official lady said stating the island would absolutely not collapse.
She seems sooo sure of herself. The arrogance of not even considering the possibility, even if it's minute, puts me at unease that God will make her eat her words.

They will hold to that until the wave can be seen behind the Statue of Liberty. Believe nothing they say. . Exactly what I fear. Hence, why explicit data is more important at this point. Physics comes into play more than geology in my opinion, I could be wrong no doubt. I just question anything that is given w/o a detailed analysis.
