I think reading doom 24/7 really takes a toll on you, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I can always feel it when I'm glued to a thread like this and don't take the time to get out, enjoy nature and do other things. Walking in green spaces has been proven to help with depression, too. I really notice a difference in my mood and outlook when I do it. I spend time outside when the air is clear - severe asthma - and I also keep the news off, the tv is on silly stuff - and games. One can only stand constant doom possibilities for so long before one cracks. I would rather see the truth -- the doomy truth -- than watch the puppet show on tv. That drives me crazy. Side note: Really good results achieved by asthma sufferers using nebulizer and 3% hydrogen peroxide treatments. Please don't respond to this. Thanks. . It's for my daughter mostly, severely depressed and can't handle anything else. The rest of us know, so we prepare.
