I'll say it again -- I am convinced that TPTB would rather have people perish in a coastal disaster than have to deal with a refugee crisis of epic proportion.

This kind of refugee crisis would not be survivable by any country.

Yeah, if this one goes they're going to try to keep the warning from getting out for as long as possible. They need as many people to die in place as possible. Something like 25%-40% of the US' logistics network sits directly in the affected zone of the worst case scenario.

Simply put, we'd be an instant 3rd world country if even 10% of the population of the direct impact zone got out. (Doing some quick head math 10% of the population in the direct impact zone would be more than the entire population of Syria Afghanistan and Iraq combined.

That's not even including the fact that pretty much everyone east of the Mississippi is turbo fucked because we'd have to move basically every bit of everything they need up the Mississippi for months to years to more likely A DECADE after the tsunami!

Also if you look at the number of EPA super fund sites and etc this would slam directly through you're talking tens to hundreds of trillions of dollars in cleanup before sea life might start coming back along the Eastern seaboard and gulf of Mexico

That’s quite a scenario you’ve outlined, rogue.

Talk about logistics! What would happen to that many dead bodies? Are they counting on all of them washing out to sea? Gruesome thought...but let’s consider the logistics. Not just supplies for the survivors, but the death and destruction brought upon us.

I have been mentally trying to work out exactly what it takes all day tbh...

The biggest question will be whether the power grid is up and still coupled to the national grid at the time of Impact.

If the grid is up when the wave hits... It will be between 6 months and 5 years before most people In the US have power restored In their local areas.
