The island is dotted with hundreds of small volcano's like this one, the chances of a landslide are probably maybe 1 in a 100

Just FYI,

I’ve noticed it is increasingly harder to find the live streams of La Palma on YT. I have been using multiple devices of mine to stream the volcano and just noticed it being like this the past couple of evenings. It seems strange that the live feeds aren’t showing up in top hits considering how many people are actively watching it. I usually have to scroll through this thread to find the good live streams (thank you guys).

I don’t know if this means anything at all but wanted to throw out the observation. Never had to search so hard for things I’ve watched so many times.

I think Mt St Helen's EQ blast was only a 5 something when she blew. Faulty memory and all that, could be wrong

Ships would move to deep water. The build up of a tsunami wave occurs as the wave reaches shallower water and the energy contained serves to create the ever larger, cresting type wave. "Out to sea" the wave generated by a collapse would not be all that noticeable to a ship other than as a "swell" rolling by.

Some disjointed thoughts from various points of checking the thread over the course of the day, things I considered or noticed last night, and other various things, a random update from my perspective, but only one reply for now.

I’ve come here to say that aside from nose, Bushcraft Bear looks remarkably like the likeness of Alvar Nuñez Cabeza de Vaca, which they’re calling this eruption Cabeza de Vaca due to the location.

One of those random interesting things I’ve experienced since my arrival this time in Spain has been a run in in Aldi with a child dressed in a cow costume coughing all over everything of mine on the conveyor belt and having fits of laughter...

Vaca, vacuna…it gets very weird adding this to that.

Remeber those explosions a few days ago? Experts believed it was from contact with water. They do not know where the water was from if I remember right. If ocean water somehow gets into this, I don't think it will need EQs. As the expert said of that, this will never end if that happens.

It was quite a few days ago now, maybe 3 or 4.

You know it. Before they turned off public feed, they probably installed new, updated and more sensitive buoys at ideal fixed station positions and labeled them something vague and innocuous. These quietly transmit to satellites and a private (no public feed) channel to warn them when Continuity Of Government protocols need to be activated. Add in high-altitude spy planes loitering around La Palma watching for the Event- as well as Human Assets on the ground reporting what they see and hear. Interestingly: I remember a while back someone supposedly leaked screenshots from a COG Test in the form of text messages informing the VIP recipients that had it been a real event, they would have an hour or so to rendezvous at a designated location. They looked pretty convincing.

Cameras have already moved to that general location I think. Check out the angle when he zooms in. It's looks like the only camera we have left.

Though the booms seem louder, maybe they are in the town below but from this angle.
