I'd hate to spout that out if it's not true, but IF TRUE, then it's concerning and dangerous. It would require telling EVERYONE here in FL to watch out for tsunami if we know MSM isn't going to report it.

YES, THERE IS LITTLE TO NO MEDIA REPORTING ON THIS EVENT. BY THE TIME A TSUNAMI WOULD OCCUR 5-9 OR 10 HOURS WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO EVACUATE THE ENTIRE EASTERN SEABOARD. IF REPORTING IN THE CORRECT FASHION, MEANING WITH THE USE OF THE RIGHT WORDING, INCLUDING THE RARITY OF SUCH A THING HAPPENING PERHAPS BY PROVIDING THE ODDS OF IT NOT HAPPENING AND JUST LETTING PEOPLE KNOW THAT IT'S ALWAYS IMPORTANT TO HAVE AN EMERGENCY PLAN SET IN PLACE. THEY COULD PROVIDE SUGGESTIONS AND SUCH FOR A TSUNAMI OR ANY OTHER EMERGENCY. INSTEAD, NEAR BLACKOUT OTHER THEN BRIEF MENTION HERE AND THERE.

Have tried to guesstimate, as we have property on Galveston.

Obviously, that depends on how big the main wave is when it reaches Florida, then whips around the tip to splash the Gulf.

My best, non-scientific, guess is 5-10 meters. If you are behind the 12 ft seawall, it will be a mess. On the west end of the island will be devastation, as it will sweep right over the west end, straight to the bay, taking much with it.

I am not a scientist in any manner, so take this for what it is worth.
