If there were pressure build up…. We would see it in larger volcanic earthquakes like MSH explosion that caused the 5.0.

Most of these are just magma finding it’s way and being pushed into the system. Or gas explosions or expansion.

For me this map supports the idea of a big piece of lithosphere sinking down. It's in the calm area between the earthquake nests above and below.

Could the area you are referring to be a magma chamber, just as easily, though? The magma rises up into the chamber, hence the very low seismic activity and then exceeds the chamber limit and rises to the vents, toward the surface, hence the “shallower” seismic activity. I am not an expert, but this is an interesting subject.
I’m not sure what geological processes would be necessary to cause delamination of the lithosphere, but I read a little on how they can test for it. I don’t believe they have performed those tests in the La Palma area, but maybe? There is an area of delaminated lithosphere not too far away from there, in the Rif and Alboran sea. The North China Craton is also an area of delaminated lithosphere that has started to show signs of melting. The NCC delaminated back in the Mesolithic era, I believe.

I don’t know, just trying to understand.

I saw 2 birds fly from right to left into the volcano cloud. One looked like it got overcome by the noxious fumes and fell into the volcano. The other flew right into the cloud and didn't reappear. IMO, their goose was cooked...
