But there is a big difference between a supervolcano on land and a supervolcano in deep water. 13,000 feet of water, if you look at the islands with no water La Palma is by far the biggest, sea floor slopes down from African coast. Edit wrote 13km lol!!! Stuck in earthquake mode sorry. Man my heads not right but 13k feet is massive, biggest mountain in the UK is 4K feet, Ben Nevis, scary when you think of it that way. |
