Ok, so this is making me think of a National Geographic video from 2005 featuring volcanologists both Day and Ward. There was a simulation on that video that has had me thinking about the evolution of this activity. I will go find that video and note the timestamp on it of the simulation and then you will understand my ongoing thoughts since first watching this video.

He was born with clelf palate. The repairs for this have come a long way these days where it's hardly noticeable except for the most severe of cases. This really is a scary place after seeing that.
