Could also be a breach of the wall, and not a new vent, we will see
Quoting: The Cure Yes, but a breach there means all of the cone is at risk. And if the cone crumbles…. It can cause other things to happen. Not just the slide, but other vents or even the lp03 area to release or sink. So much is connected. And, to be technical about it, I'm pretty sure this "new vent" is one of the original 3 vents that were going off before the western-most one stole the glory. This second vent just re-opened and maybe merged with the eastern-most one. Those two were pumping out a massive column of black smoke most of the daytime earlier today.
