The more I think about it -I don't know how it could have been hacked.

We're talking about a daily press conference from the White House. You would think that they would have a strict security protocol to prevent something like this from happening during a white house press conference.

I mean, if it was a 3am and someone hacked an old episode of "murder she wrote" that wouldn't be that big of a deal. But to hack a White House Press conference...and to get away with iit fro ever 2.5 minutes....nope. If it came from outside of the news station, I'm pretty sure they would have been able to over-ride the hack pretty quickly...within 15 seconds probably.

The fact that it went on for 2 and 1/2 minutes tells me that it's coming from inside the news station....maybe a producer knows something.....maybe someone locked themselves in the studio and locked the doors.....

AC isn't wrong. The deformation at La Palma is much more spread out over miles.

Figure 2 shows the famous 1980 “bulge” at Mount St. Helens. Before the May 18, 1980 eruption, fresh magma rose upwards in the volcano and pushed sideways, forming a 0.6 mile-wide bulge on the north side of the volcano. Scientists repeatedly measured these changes and found that the bulge was growing sideways at an astonishing rate of 5 feet per day! The bulge eventually collapsed on May 18, 1980, creating the massive landslide and infamous blast of the 1980 eruption.
