I thought "it" had happened. Went through in my mind what I needed to do first....second....

Freaked me the f*** out for about 15 minutes while I collected myself and then tried again.


Then I thought, "This IS how it will happen. In one split second, the internet will just to - blip - BYE, BYE! Then what will we do to know if our worst fears have come to pass? Wait for the msm to tell us? Or go to Plan A, or B, or whatever you think you need to do....."

You know, I was beginning to think I was being silly about how serious this could get until the incident on ABC news.

The more I think about it -I don't know how it could have been hacked.

We're talking about a daily press conference from the White House. You would think that they would have a strict security protocol to prevent something like this from happening during a white house press conference.

I mean, if it was a 3am and someone hacked an old episode of "murder she wrote" that wouldn't be that big of a deal. But to hack a White House Press conference...and to get away with iit fro ever 2.5 minutes....nope. If it came from outside of the news station, I'm pretty sure they would have been able to over-ride the hack pretty quickly...within 15 seconds probably.

The fact that it went on for 2 and 1/2 minutes tells me that it's coming from inside the news station....maybe a producer knows something.....maybe someone locked themselves in the studio and locked the doors.....

Given the fact NBC didn't have it...the switch occurred at ABC ...I haven't seen anything about CBSN...

I've been in control rooms and there are likely auxiliary control rooms as well these days for internet streams. This didn't happen over their main network feed, as near as I can determine...

TV news isn't Ron Burgundy, but there are clowns and careless people that it could very well have been an unfortunate accident...The timing of the words, "national emergency," and then the cut to the volcano is rather troubling. But someone could have just easily hit the wrong button at the wrong time while editing another piece in an auxiliary room or just plain fooling around with the buttons--or someone or something got on the control panel--trying not to spill coffee or a phone dropped on the board..

I have worked in the industry and seen things happen that were pure accidents during live broadcasts through the years along the lines of the tv news bloopers.

BUT--

ABC is owned by Disney, take that for what you will...

I posted last night that the article from the black guy has alot of inaccuracies like where Joe Biden was supposed to be today, for one...

Certainly bears monitoring the MSM to see if they do drop any more bread crumbs our way...

My thought is to watch the movement of TPTB and the military --not just the volcano...

I believe it was TV Canarias streaming the W.H. press conference then they broke in with the volcano and then back to the W.H. If you go to 2:45 min on the video you can see the TV Canarias logo in upper right .

On March 16, 1980, the first sign of activity at Mount St. Helens occurred as a series of small earthquakes. On March 27, after hundreds of additional earthquakes, the volcano produced its first eruption in over 100 years. Steam explosions blasted a 60- to 75-m (200- to 250-ft) wide crater through the volcano's summit ice cap and covered the snow-clad southeast sector with dark ash.

Within a week the crater had grown to about 400 m (1,300 ft) in diameter and two giant crack systems crossed the entire summit area. Eruptions occurred on average from about 1 per hour in March to about 1 per day by April 22 when the first period of activity ceased. Small eruptions resumed on May 7 and continued to May 17. By that time, more than 10,000 earthquakeshad shaken the volcano and the north flank had grown outward about 140 m (450 ft) to form a prominent bulge. From the start of the eruption, the bulge grew outward—nearly horizontally—at consistent rates of about 2 m (6.5 ft) per day.

Good catch! Although...it's still possible it was the other way around...i.e. ABC fed the TV Canarias livestream over THEIR NETWORK, not v.v., right?
