I just took my mom out of there and she recovered fully at home. They were trying to keep her there until the Medicare payments ran out. We just went through the same situation, and she's now dead as well, the funeral is Weds. A family member entered the ER due to right side abdominal pain, she was diagnosed with gallstones and after two days of fighting with the hospital due to the complete lack of care she was all of a sudden diagnosed with right side heart failure, subsequently had a heart attack, was moved to the ICU and put on a vent. We knew these were all lies and she was actively being murdered, however due to the fake diagnosis given and even having full Power of Attorney we were unable to legally take her out. Prior to that night she was in excellent health, it took the hospital just 8 days to take her life. What's even more fucked up is she knew they were killing her and prior to the the move to ICU she was actively pleading for her life. Fucking murdering bastards. DON'T GO TO THE FUCKING HOSPITAL, EVER!! |

My 59 year old Aunt was in the last stages of cancer- within days of death and in a lot of pain, and they wanted to send her home- 70 miles away and have hospice in.
