MSM Fake News - Walmart Accepts LTC as Payment

what a clusterfuck. seems way to coordinated to be a "mistake"... the market looked primed for a takeoff since yesterday and now the media is manipulating the market.
The fact that LTC tweeted about the "partnership" and then deleted means they were in on it. really lame...

I woke up 5 minutes too late to be on top of this and lost maybe $100 short term. This kind of shit is why crypto is still struggling to find wide support. You can do 50 great things and nobody even knows, but one scammy fuck up and the whole anti crowd loses their mind with i told you sos.

The reason people fell for it is that it is totally plausible and reasonable that LTC would be adopted by a major retailer at some point since it is second only to bitcoin in length and security of chain and has actually had 100% uptime, which BTC has not, and it is faster and cheaper to send.

Next time this happens, it will be for real, but will take days before anyone believes it now.

I am 100% sure the only mistake was the LTC acct retweeting it. It was on Yahoo and Reuters for goodness sake. There isn't an official CEO or marketing dept of Litecoin. They are mostly volunteers and not everyone knows everything going on at all times. It was a coordinated outside scam and unfortunately it was convincing. I would guess it was done by someone who wanted to hurt LTC and make a fast buck at the same time. Smells like a BCH crew job or maybe that guy who did the big XVG pump and dump scam and then bragged and laughed about it.. that guy was toxic AF and was also hacking peoples phones and wallets and then offering to "help" recover it as he planted more hacks. There are a lot of evil fuckers in the space that are ruining it for everyone else. Just like everything else. The irony is that if they would put that energy to positive promotion they could have made even more by legitimizing instead of tainting crypto.
