No Baby Formula (WIC) For NonVAXD
My 1 yr old needs a prescription (for last year) for her formula, which is Nutramagen. It’s about $40/can, and she needs 8-11 per month, which is covered under her insurance, via Medicaid, as we’re both on furlough.

Went to the WIC office this morning, and was asked if mom & I had been vaccinated. I asked what that question had to do with me getting my daughters formula, and was told (with a sticker placed on my daughters folder) that we’d have to submit proof of vaccination by Oct 15, or else the formula “may not be available to us.”

Oh, this is in GA, as her Medicaid/WIC was transferred from Florida.

Me, personally, I’ll go out in a blaze of glory before taking that shot. The formula…we’ll figure it out. I mean, you can legally steal in some cities, so if it comes down to it…Publix, look out.

We work on the side (under the table). Giving into the furlough, if we leave, we lose all benefits, contributions (to an extent); but most importantly, the company seniority.

It’s not the $$$ impact I’m emphasizing, it’s the blatant hook & carrot being waved in our faces; most on assistance need it, after being off for a year and BS unemployment running out. Yes, some take advantage and made more $$$ on unemployment, but people making north of 6 figures, that BS $275/wk buys bread.

OP I have no answer. But I will say, if I was in your shoes I'd put my faith in God and not get vaccinated and start making other arrangements. It's a shame you couldn't breastfeed.

You'd have no worries right now and your child would he stronger for it.

But that's not my business and I dont know your story.

Regardless, stay strong and ultimately do what you gotta do.

Yes, my wife & I have both had the discussion. That’s the last resort, if they start taking kids from unvaxxd. But, then what? BOTH adults or parents have to vaxxed to be in the same house with their own kids? Not sure what will happen at that point, but they’re not getting the kids (in any form), come hell or high water.

You can easily pay someone to get it for you. Going rate is $0.50/$1.

No need to steal it...

The person you get it from may acquire it in nefarious methods, but just go by the "don't ask, don't tell" policy.

Good luck hf

Get to the bottom of your baby's health troubles.

I don't know why she needs special formula, but if you are relying on the American medical association for the amswer, stop because they are leading you down a life long path of dependence.

Start reading everything you can find about her condition, find people who've corrected the problem and learn from their experiences.

Google won't be much help so be creative.

Currently my B.P. is spiking and I'm sure my blood sugars are approaching warning levels. My first hope is that this is a troll post but it is probably true. The next thing I thought about was our Southern "border". They are pouring in with a new surge this weekend, not vaxxed. It simply doesn't seem possible that a child would be denied life sustaining formula based on vax status. This is beyond the pale and things are spiraling into a new police state like Australia.
