My kids, nieces/nephews, grandkids, and great nieces/nephews were all on table food at a year old. The only infant food that continued, for a few great nieces/nephews, was breast milk. Some got vitamin supplements; some didn’t.

Maybe if you read up and talk to your pediatrician, you will consider removing formula from your kid’s diet.

This obviously doesn’t take away from the horror of what they are willing to threaten, and maybe do, but hopefully you can keep your kid healthy despite those monsters.

It is a bluff and it is illegal. Tell them to fulfill it and stop with the illegal could be and would be statements, those are always bluffs.

And ask for their policy in writing, because you will have a lawyer check into this BS.

It would violate the ADA disability act and many numerous other ones.

Will they take away food next? Why only formula? Both are called "prescriptions" by WIC lingo.

My 1 yr old needs a prescription (for last year) for her formula, which is Nutramagen. It’s about $40/can, and she needs 8-11 per month, which is covered under her insurance, via Medicaid, as we’re both on furlough.

Went to the WIC office this morning, and was asked if mom & I had been vaccinated. I asked what that question had to do with me getting my daughters formula, and was told (with a sticker placed on my daughters folder) that we’d have to submit proof of vaccination by Oct 15, or else the formula “may not be available to us.”

Oh, this is in GA, as her Medicaid/WIC was transferred from Florida.

They want submission or death.
