if she QUITS they ride free


notice the phrasing... "do the right thing".

in other words, their legal standing is sketchy and they
know it. That's why they won't fire her.

Seems like they did just not schesule her in. Never fired her, when they dont hear from her after a few weeks they can say she walked off the job.

Problem is she showed to work demanding a letter from them which shows she is fired, something she can use against them. They refuse and you can tell they know they are in deep doo doo of she keeps showing up.

What are the legals on this situation??? Someone please enlighten us!!! Can they keep you in limbo like this?

At this point I think she should get legal advice, maybe she already has. She's doing well, now that she has this recording. She should leave and try to keep her security badge etc. Send HR an email saying that a security guy tried to do this to her and she still considers herself employed because she was never fired, and is awaiting instructions on when she can return and her ID will work.

If the paychecks stop, sue them.

Probobly no paychecks, she is an hourly employee probobly unless she has enough PTO (paid time off) set up. She should get PTO now and if she quits on good terms. If she gets fired they take all of the PTO. Atleast thats how it works here.

So I wonder if she is getting anything. Like whats the backstory? She refused the vax and bam! Nothing after that?
