I was returning from work, saw small crowd in Halloween get-up

but looking down and depressed...wtf. Mixed crowd, residential area. Creeped me out, and they stared right at me as I drove past.

But why? Gaslighting the drivers passing by maybe? idk. Just gave me a foreboding, chilling vibe.

Leaves also started to fall unusually fast, about 3 weeks sooner than Im used to.
