Have Millions of People Died/Disappeared?

I don’t know anyone personally who is missing. One would think that if literally millions were missing that each of us here at GLP would know someone who is missing. I don’t… anyone else?

Well, I know literally hundreds of people I haven't seen in many years, like decades.

My children say the same. Everyone they knew in childhood has pretty much disappeared.

Same with me. Childhood and young adulthood.

How many people grew up in a certain area which is almost totally abandoned now?

All the houses empty. Hundreds of empty houses. Probably thousands on all sides of town.

Judging by the traffic on my way to work, they are still here.

Visit funeral homes. They know...and they all say they are slammed. Naturally, cause of death is "covid".

Similar comment posted a few times and is understandable...others see one quarter of normal traffic missing others see one third missing ...others see half of traffic missing in their zones....localized phenomenon.

Grand Illusion.... can even imagine how crowded the sidewalks of NYC Times Square area used to be (40+ years ago) compared to 2021

The parking lot I use at my workplace has about 10 cars in it at the most and it used to be full. Mind you there has been construction going on so people started parking at the lot across the street, but there isn’t enough room in that lot for the amount of people that used to park in the lot I use now and the lot adjacent to it. I think a lot of people are still working from home and some have retired. In my agency alone, we are down over 20 people from the first of this year.
