How are so many places understaffed when unemployment and eviction moratoriums are gone? I don’t believe that many people are suddenly hiding now because of CoVid and not working just waiting to get evicted. Even fast food is paying $15 an hour in states where it’s not the mandatory minimum wage - and heroic grocery store workers stayed on the job at the height of the fear pandemic. Why would all those people not be working now? What are all these mysterious ‘better jobs’ they left for? Are the supply shortages really because so many people are MIA? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80632059 This is interesting.. "According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons (NamUS) database, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, more than 600,000 persons of all ages go missing every year" This just the united states alone. Quoting: sol the star Now it seems like that number squared in just a few months. There was a thread on here earlier tonight about the strangest thing you’ve see or heard where someone mentioned an EFBeye agent talking about he wasn’t allowed to investigate that stuff. What could it be?
