A PC game I play online (and have played for more than a decade) has a particular server that was always busy (at least at night). The past few weeks there has literally been NO ONE.

One night there were 6 people when there are usually over 30, easily.

Every other time I log on now, I'm the only one.

Very strange.

City Street and Freeway traffic are just another data point of the investigation.Empty city parks (did people stop walking their dogs?) and low to no pedestrians traffic on usa city streets is more telling.

We have all certainly heard of recent "tech issues" isitdown? at popular websites/ apps but your experience of lack of users does fit the Empty World Phenomena...

labor day weekend down here at the lake of the ozarks was EMPTY. it was actually pretty shocking

I was living in Burbank, CA from 2015-2016 and I remember it would be completely dead and silent all the time, even during rush hour. I also lived in LA a decade earlier and it was always crowded and busy. So something has been going on for awhile.

My brother works at a hotel. Just this week a long-haul trucker who is a regular said he drives all over but there are no people. He said that everywhere he goes, it’s quiet and empty. He said “Where have all the people gone? What happened?”

I don’t think we’ve been left behind in some potential rapture. Rather, awful people are being removed from this reality. The world feels calm this month with so many azzhats MIA. And the people left behind are kinder and easier to deal with. Last year during the summer, when life was pretty normal, I walked through my small city at 10 am on a Wed. It was deathly quiet with no background ambient noise, like everyone had died. My intuition immediately screamed: “this is the future.” It was lovely. Peaceful, quiet. I think we’re the lucky survivors. I wouldn’t want to be wherever the horrid people have been taken to.

4th of July at the Lake of the Ozarks was also empty. No boats for sale. About half of the stores, hotels and restaurants were closed due to no staff.

The outlet mall had almost every store closed and gone.

I used to see Rats out at night on my walks ....Now it is Rabbits in this timeline.

I don’t know where you people live, but everyone is apparently moving to my state. Houses are selling for 70K over asking in 2 days and people are paying cash. There are tons of people from India here now and it’s like they all get a free Tesla and 750K house when they get to America. Thanks Apple.

Fast food places have help wanted signs, but everyone where I am seems to be making 6 figures. And the stores are always busy, even in the middle of the day.
