That's a tough one... delivery drivers usually walk around back when they don't get an answer at the door to see if there's a side door to knock on.
If the driver went to the wrong house...
Not saying that's what happened here but you can't just go shooting people from inside your home because you feel "threatened"...
If they are carrying a weapon, or acting in a hostile manner, that's different.
Remember Gas Pump Karen? Here's this video of the woman that accused the dudes that were "following her" because she had the fucking gas nozzle still in her car and they were just trying to warn her but she felt like they were stalking her or some deluded shit until it ends in hilarity.
You can't just go judge, jury, executioner shooting people through walls and shit.
Quoting: BFD Unjabbed Texas. 11pm. You have a delivery. You ring the bell and knock. No answer. If you are a delivery driver in Texas and go around the back of the house at 11pm peering through windows, you are either suicidal, stupid, or up to no good. Whatever the case, she did the world a favor. She cleaned up the gene pool a bit. Case closed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80247219 Around here in Pa, we're armed to the teeth... but we get a lot of deliveries. We couldn't run a pizza shop if people were getting shot dead for looking around the side because no one would sign up for that shit. Quoting: BFD Unjabbed If they order a pizza, they will know someone's coming, yes? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80247219 If you'd ever driven for food delivery, you would know that you are walking around with flashlights in the dark looking for the right address and often times it's a lot of knocking on wrong doors to get to the root of the problem. A lot of homes are poorly marked, which leads to a TON of, "oh, I'm sorry... is this 2024 Whatever St.? No, Well sorry to bother you but do you know where that is?" It's how delivering food works... especially with new drivers that don't know the area.
