I NEVER thought I would kinda sorta agree with Uncle Gintel. But here I am. I think this situation calls for some serious "Home Alone" type retaliation, But shooting through a wall at an unknown person outside? No. Not for me. I'd go check the dude outside, armed, and dispatch if necessary. I know a chick probably would not be comfortable with that, and rightly so. But blast away? I think not. Call a man friend to help or the cops. Be ready. If he breaks, enters, etc, BLAST AWAY. Not blindly through a wall.  How do you know he didn't say, "I'm gonna rape your cunt, bitch!"? Because that's what the guy that broke in on my wife at Stillwater when she was at OSU said to her right before jammed a Bic pen in his face. If it comes out he was saying "I'm going to get you.". I will be the first to say blast his ass. As of right now, as the story stands, there was no justification. You can't just start shooting through walls.
