A good book to read is "Our Stolen Future", primarily about hormone disruptors and its role in decreased fertility. It is incidental to the main title, but it talks about these hormone disruptors that have been polluted into the environment in recent times as causing Homosexuality in animal populations. In humans as well, I recommend the book it is an academic book, but not difficult to read.
