OK - First of all -
UTICA is NO WHERE NEAR NYC. It's "another country".

I moved here 17 years ago (trust me very long story) -
one of the first things I was told when "people" found
out I moved here was - "You do realize that there is NO health care here". In many ways - I have discovered that that is
SOOOOO true.

"They" are trying to build a new hospital in Utica - to replace the local "death traps". They have stopped construction. After making a hell of a mess.

I guess I am saying - If you think that this has anything
to do with NYC - think again.

HOWEVER - "most" of us here are "conservative".
Also we are "well" south of Lewis County - where "they"
closed the maternity wards.
