You have to understand. Americans have been getting taught for 50+ years that our empire has the right to rule the world, put bases in any country we want, sail any sea we wish, send our military in to change a regime who hates freedom, etc.

All it takes is saying all of this is being done to promote democracy and freedom and the good little sheep come out in droves with American flags waving.

All the while the elite sit back watching their billions become trillions while the American flag draped coffins come flying in, but apparently it's worth it, because you know, freedom.

Even though not one foreign military has attempted to attack US soil since 1941, and even then, was allowed to do so.
