You can read the FOIA'ed court documents, the organizers and a hilarious number of the participants including most of the most violent ones were in fact feds or federal informants....

Those people could have come heavy if they had wanted to and if they had there would have been absolutely no stopping them and this story would be a whole different thing, but that's not what happened. It's not even close to what happened.
