But espionage can become treason when the person involved steals valid information from his own country and gives it to another. “Espionage” means “stealing important documents from a government and passing them on to another government.” [ link to www.differencebetween.net] I'd say telling China that they would not be nuked without a head up is stealing valid information that Milley had no right or authority to pass on to another government. Yep. Espionage. Sedition. Treason. Take your pick. His actions fit them all.
