The worker shortage of exactly that. A shortage of workers, not managers. There is no manager shortage.
Quoting: Factual Error Companies already have a manager for each and every worker. They hire managers just to get their buddies in by making up positions which need to be "managed". Meanwhile, they are never able to afford to bring in workers who actually DO REAL WORK. Every time a regular worker quits, they solve the problem by passing more work on to others who remain, and then that requires them to hire another manager. Companies are a total joke nowadays. So this means there is a HUGE manager bubble, and workers dont want to go back to work to do the work of ten people at slave wages. Its easier to just become homeless and live out in the woods then it is to be an employee at most companies today. No wonder employers are having trouble finding workers, workers would rather hang themselves then go back to that shit!
