I don't know how accurate Medium is but WFLA said the same but they didn't mention depth.

Laundrie parents have been informed the remains are Brian's, according to their attorney.

Only partial remains? Skeletal at that? Part of a skull and a few bones? I bet many will say animals got him but Gabby's body was supposedly left in the Wyoming elements for 3-4 weeks and they mentioned nothing about skeletal remains. Her dad was able to identity the body. Seems her body was intact. What about "Brian's"? Fish don't eat bones. Snakes can only eat so much. Gators maybe but they swallow whole and don't just leave bones behind. Something isn't adding up here. Anyone have any input?

Florida-Extremely Hot, Park closed down, no people, high temperatures, rain, stagnant water Panthers, Black Bears, Alligators time period given yes, possible.

Wyoming- Elevation, Fair cooler temps, Bears, lots of hikers and campers.
I imagine Gaby was very decomposed too.

So I guess what I was seeing on Tik Tok was real. They were speculating a gun shot wound to the head. What a POS coward. I hope the Petito's get some sorta closure. Maybe the notebook is key

Sure, they didn't cooperate with the police... but their reward for that is a closed casket funeral for their son.

Never heard of it, but I always do feel a bit down when an epic investigation/event thread like this comes to it's eventual end.

I binge-read the Summer Wells info a couple of weeks ago.

It was interesting. Poor girl with what sounded like very sketchy parents.

I saw one of those transit vans the other day, same size as Gabby's.

You gotta wonder if these two lovers were star crossed from the second they pulled out of the driveway in North Port.

Looking at the video from the traffic stop, I don't even think a guy of Brian's height could fully stretch out in the back.

I'm sure the first week was amazing... all the anticipation of adventures to be had made up for the cramped living quarters.

But weeks in, once the novelty wore off, the walls that were already so near probably started to close in.

I don't think Brian was a serial killer, and I don't think Gabby was mentally ill.

I think the two of them went all in on a dream, and at some point between Moab and Grand Teton the house won and they were left with nothing but a nightmare.

Then all it took was a spark to light off the powder keg that had been taking up more and more room in the back of that van.

In a few short moments, it all came to a head and before he knew it Laundrie's fate was set. There was no taking it back.

All that potential... two young lives that could have gone anywhere after a brief summer of youthful wanderlust.

But the reality is never as good as the dream, and instead this story ends not with a scrapbook of photos to show the grandchildren, but two bodies left to rot in the sun.
