This is creepy to see people already wanting it to be her. They said they could not verify it is her yet and/or what the cause of death is.

Wouldn't it make more sense to pray that it isn't her, so that she might still be alive?

Come on folks..

They would not give condolences like that and say they thought it was her unless they were very confident.

Just to note. Not 100% her but her family has been notified.

They want that DNA confirmation. They have the body and everything matched to her.

They said it looks like her. In the area her phone last pinged. In the area they've been searching. Yes, they have to forensically verify it. Duh!

There are legit organizations that help people with hotel money and food. The churches in my community do this if you call and ask. I helped a young couple once here in my neighborhood.

It does sound like to me that someone or a bunch of someone's want to make the boyfriend look bad. This could be part of a bigger trafficking organization, is my feeling.

IDC. That tattoo means something. Many times those tattoo are given legitimate reasons but people but they are known to the "group"

Someone said it means he lost someone close to him or something along those line. Nobody gets a tattoo that looks like 666 in a place gang member get them. That is a very common place for tattoos among cartels and gang members.

Someone I think said he's ex military.

He said he was an owner operator or worked as a long haul truck driver all over the west coast.

He went out of his way to tell Brian he had contacts in places all through The west. He knew all the National Park really well.

He showed a low opinion of women claiming the only good thing about being stuck with his wife those 4 years truck driving was she could get him a sandwich from the back of the cab. Could just be he was trying to relate to Brian about his situation.

With all this plus other suspicious things about the guy it has piled up too much for me to let go of. I don't trust him at all.

Did Brian "owe" someone there something? Was this just supposed to be a quick kidnap and rape by an interested buyer?. I mean the buyer would have more than a few days to show up and get what he paid for.

I mean...I guess. But I feel out of respect you would try to show your support/condolences to the family whether or not it was her. If they feel it is her why would they not just say so now? I think it's standard procedure to show respect/condolences to the victims family involved in situations like this, whether or not you know for certain the found victim is their child.

You could be correct - but I would still say the fact that they could not verify that it was her, or even the cause of death - means there is potential hope that it might not be her, which could mean she is still alive. If it is an issue where they may need time to verify the identity then - please forgive me for suggesting this - but it may be that the body is in a state that it is not easily identifiable. There's a chance(?) it has been there for a long time.

Understandable that we all want this to be solved and closure for those involved but lets not lose hope where opportunities for it are available.

Do they ever eventually release to the news what the cause of death was?

Identifying (DURABLE) tatts, fitting description of, the guy talking gave to condolences to family "for loss of daughter" and was a little emotional, you could tell he was holding back, search called off, dogs sent away.

They will down the road. Case is still ongoing. He is currently "missing" in Florida.

Absolutely true. 100%. Most places have churches and non profits with a voucher program for situations just like this. Especially women involved in domestic situations\at risk.

They dont send them to a shelter for the night but to a motel. Shelters are for long term at risk women.

Im sorry she is no longer with us but this story is prime example of how they distract us.
