JUST A THEORY

This shows, and I believe this, there was a three way relationship and she was becoming closer to Rose than him and he wanted it over.

I'm sure before they began this 3 way it was intended as purely sex. His lust got the better of him, I'm sure meth helped him with that, but it got out of hand.

I haven't read the whole thread or done my research but I believe that she got involved with some shady people with drugs and/or cheated on him.

I think he regrets speaking to his superior... he was going to cite her and arrest her, but his superior said it was his call and then the mics went silent.. then they moulded the law to give them a break. Normally I would applaud this, as lets have a little empathy and not give them a record. However, the superior missed all the conversation and the clues. I am not sure how long they have all been on the force, but.. come on.

Well we all watched the interaction knowing Gabby was missing & Brian wasn’t. Hindsight is 20/20 & I’m confident these officers are bearing tremendous guilt right now. It’ll give law enforcement agencies nationwide a situation to study, analyze & learn from.

Some of you have already got false info. She was found at the last Camp ground they were spotted at. He likely killed her there. It is unbelievable they did not separate after the fight and cut the trip short. The officers did a good job if you ask me there is no way they could know this would be an outcome. She should have flown home and left him with the Van to drive back.

Frankly it sounds like he pre-meditated it. She must have picked him up the next day at the motel, then they went to the campground and he went ballistic.

Here’s how it more than likely went:

They were having relationship problems. There was a domestic abuse moment where cops were called by Gabby. Dude got angry as fuck but hid the fact behind smiles and and a calm demeanor with the police. Later, as they continued on their trip and arrived in Teton they got into another argument over something and he ended up letting ALL of his anger out on her through some form of violence and in his loss of emotional control he hit her or pushed her or struck her with something that killed her.

When he realized what he had done, he panicked. Made his way back to his van and drove back to his parent’s home in Florida. He knew that because the police were involved in Utah and that it was over domestic abuse, he was in serious trouble. It was also only a matter of time before they launched a search and probably found her body with dogs.

So he ran and went to the woods to get lost. He is also too much of a coward to kill himself so it is only a matter of time before they catch him. I don’t know if he ever had any SERE training, though I doubt he has, so they will eventually pick up his trail with dogs and he won’t know how to mask himself from that and elude. They will drag him out and we will probably see a trial at some point.

Wyoming DOES still have the death penalty though they have not put anyone to death since the early 90s. This might actually be the first time we see someone probably get tried for the death penalty in Wyoming in many decades.

They stopped searching for him. You can't survive in there more than 48 hours, he had little food or water. The mosquitoes alone would kill you overnight. He's likley dead alredy.

This is a story. I agree. Try explaining that to most people and they will be lost. Kinda like with the shot being dangerous. They can’t even process it.

Thing is, it’s real to most of us too. We feel for this girl! We are mad at the guy! Who knows. The feelings are real.
