Re: Nature softens up the heart
Truth. I live in a big city and 2 months ago had the opportunity to go to a country side. Normally, i was a bit biased, because i was thinking i would be bored. However, when i went to the place, everything has changed completely. Minutes after setting foot on the ground, i felt so much happiness. Even collecting grapes from that place(vineyard), was amazing. I felt as if my heart was softened. And surprisingly, my speech became way more loving and gentle. I'm normally a gentle and loving person, however it made me even more :) Therefore, if you like to find happiness and positivity, i'd recommend to go to a country side. The effects are amazing.

A short article i wrote

Thanks for reading :)

Being closer to nature brings you closer to God, and God is good. So I'm not surprised you became a happier, more positive, and loving person under that influence.

Studies show that even having potted plants in your home can have an amazing effect on your state of mind. You can bring nature into your home this way.

As someone who was living in the city for 10+ years and moved out into the country, I can say I wholeheartedly agree. Just a different energy in itself.

Isn't Nature beautiful and wonderful? Let's all join hands, stare at the fuzzy pink horizon and sing Kumbaya.

I am still laughing at your comment as I type this.

A couple days ago a male of orange variety of this monkey was climbing at the end of a jobo tree, breaking the branches and dropping them to the ground so he could go climb down and scoop up the fruits. He looked at me defiantly as he snapped each branch. After a five broken branches, a female snuggled up to him, impressed with his strength. It didn't take long before they got down to the monkey business, providing quite the show for me and the dogs.

Re: Nature softens up the heart
I enjoy my possums and raccoons, my cats and my dogs.

I feed them all with a happy heart.

The little possums will take food from my hand now.

The raccoons too, and the funny thing about raccoons is they will give the food to their little ones.

I love that.

I put a half watermelon out there for them the other day.

Such sweet creatures.

Possums eat ticks.

We have a whole family of them under our shed.

My kids have never had a tick on them.

Also possums are immune to rabies.

Me and my daughter feed them cat food.

They love it.
