For the non-veterans here - he gave up a monthly check for life of approx $4,500 (perhaps more since the amount is based on rank and years of service)
He also gave up TriCare for him and his family - it is the healthcare for retirees.

While he should never be in the position he should have just waited it out. Courts Martial do not happen over night and he would have a number of legal options to delay and challenge the potentially unlawful order. He could have retired and received his pension prior to charges even being brought.

The only legal authority to file charges lie with his local command. They would be reluctant to deprive an individual of retirement benefits who otherwise gave clean service. Commanders do not have to act immediately and could have delayed procedures long enough for him to qualify for his pension and very likely would have done so willingly but he wanted to make a statement and play out his own agenda in effect sand bagging his Commander so no one to blame but himself due to his own selfishness

That's very true. I've seen it for years. I served with two officers who made flag rank, and they both were completely political kiss-ups.

There's a reason when the time comes to remove a corrupt government, throughout human history, it's usually the "Colonels" who do the leading. Once an officer accepts that first star, they've become part of the problem.

You are conflating what a soldier will KNOWINGLY and WILLINGLY expose themselves to and what the government will threaten, lie, and coherce them to do.

The stigma surrounding this alleged "vaccine" is well known unlike the effects of the anthrax series which were suppressed in the pre-internet age.

No-one would WILLINGLY submit to radiological exposure knowing the effects in this day and age either.
