A touch of polio, a slight case of hepatitis...DID THOSE VACCINES FAIL LIKE THE COVID "VACCINE"?

Did any other vaccine in history ever fail as the covid "vaccine" has failed? I mean, were there "breakthrough" cases of polio with doctors saying "you have a mild case of polio but thank god you got the vaccine because now you won't die"? Or "you have mild hepatitis/tetanus/diphtheria but not to worry -- you're vaccinated!"
