Ban the plastic bags
But don’t ban all the products wrapped in plastic that you put in the bag
Makes sense

Americans must think out of the box.

Patriots will not be allowed work, own property, shop, go to school, drive, have bank accounts, travel, see a doctor, get welfare, or start a business, but new societies and the free market will rise up to serve Libertarians.

Agents will be used to provide food, fake documents, and housing. An underground railroad will be started to smuggle rebels around.

The government will try to clamp down by requiring ration cards for everyone.

The globalists don't care if they treat customers bad and Americans boycott companies because the elites get bailouts and subsidies.

Kicking customers off websites, closing bank accounts, and banning customers doesn't matter to the ruling powers because the end game is to kill off the 99%.

Back before they banned plastic shopping bags in SF, the homeless used to shit in them and throw them in the trash.

Now they just shit on the sidewalk.

Banning plastic and getting rid of as much plastic packaging is fine by me. A disgusting industry. The paper industry sucks to, but they can move on to hemp easily.

I don't see why you need to ban paper, maybe charge 10 cents each to encourage people to bring a bag. I bring one because it holds huge amounts of weight.

This doesn't even make sense, what they are trying to do.

Many of us were using those reuseable bags back before covid began, as a way of NOT using plastic or paper bags. We'd purchase them and just bring the reuseable ones in with us each time we shopped.

And then 'covid' hit. All stores refused to allow the reuseable bags into the stores. So it was back to using their stupid plastic or paper bags. NOW they don't want us using those bags anymore..

Idiots. Wish they'd make up their damn minds!

Does anyone get the feeling that anyone supporting the police state now is a paid NSA shill?

My town banned plastic. I always preferred paper anyway. I remember the good old days when I was a kid ( late 70's early 80's ) . Soft drinks were in 12 oz glass bottles ( with real sugar not HFCS ). The glass made a coke taste so much better. Nothing was plastic. My Scout troop would have a paper and glass drive one Saturday a month and was if the entire town would bring glass and old newspaper to recycle and we made enough money to pay for one big trip every year.

Wow.

Americans are totally enslaved.

The USA is a police state and Americans scream for more chains.

The US is not a democracy.

None of the laws or taxes are legit now.

If you think that no one should own cats, what will you say when you get arrested for owning dogs?

Are you God?

If you don't want people to smoke then why don't you educate people or walk away?

Do Americans know that the USA used to be a free country?

Do Americans realize that millions of people were killed by tyranny in Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union, and Cambodia?

WTF?

EU countries mostly banned bags 10 + years ago.

I've been using reusable bags by probably 15 years.

Now lately they banned other plastic disposable items as plastic qtips, plates and straws etc

With all fake environmentalism this is probably the most honest and effective solutions.

Ps...nobody use paper bags or mais bioplastic...those are scam. But you can bring your sturdy bags anytime.

Re: Bill banning plastic, paper bags will have unintended consequences
Americans either scream tyranny is wonderful because the US has always been a police state or think that the US has the most freedom in the world, but what if the USA used to have freedom and lost it?

If Americans hate freedom then why did Americans fight the British?

If the US was always a police state then why did the founding fathers support free speech, protesting, religious freedom, gun rights, the right to silence, and property rights while opposing warrantless searches, civil forfeiture, torture, and extrajudicial assassinations?

Even if the US never had freedom, does that mean liberty is bad?

Did the US have curfews, NSA wiretapping, checkpoints, forfeiture, the end to the right to silence, free speech bans, torture, kill lists, no fly lists, searches without warrants, private prisons, mandatory minimums, 3 strikes laws, DNA databases, CISPA, SOPA, NDAA, IMBRA, FBAR, FATCA, TSA groping, secret FISA courts, redlight cameras, license plate readers, and Jade Helm in 1980?

Did Americans have gun bans, business licenses, Social Security numbers, sales, income, or property taxes in 1890?

Were drugs, alcohol, smoking, gambling, and prostitution illegal in 1880?

Was smoking illegal in 1970?

Americans believe their beloved government overlords are holy gods.

Americans scream schools, roads, and parks could never possibly exist without income taxes.

Americans swear that the government invented telephones and airplanes. Americans insist that their shoes come from government shoe factories.

Did everyone have passports in 1776?

Do you forget how to drive when your driver license expires?

Do Americans think Americans just stood around waiting for FEMA to show up after the San Francisco earthquake in 1906?

Do Americans think that airlines had a vested interest in crashing their own planes before the FAA was established? Do planes still crash now?

Has FDA gotten rid of dangerous drugs?

Could businesses start before SBA existed?

Did Americans just starve to death when there were no food stamps?

SEC regulates stockbrokers, but markets still crash.

EPA regulates the environment, but the EPA pollutes.

The USSR was a Socialist utopia, but the Soviet Union was polluted.

Can't the free market run railroads?

Can't the free market run delivery companies?

Americans need to be fanatic about freedom now. Make every conservation about liberty. Make songs, art, and films about freedom.

Tell soldiers and the Gestapo that they are sell-outs and puppets for the elites and traitors against the 99%.

Americans are so enslaved today that after they are groped by TSA and see checkpoints and watch reports about NSA wiretapping that Americans will still insist that anyone who thinks that the US is a police state is a nutjob.

Some patriots are so discouraged about freedom that they will say they have given up warning Americans about tyranny after 35 years, but Americans should NEVER surrender.

Americans do not understand that freedom lost will never be restored.

Outlawing straws would have been unthinkable in 1990, but now straws will never be legal again.

Wake up.
