Furious China issues bone-chilling warning subs deal could 'make Australia a potential target for a NUCLEAR strike'
...and Chiner is not going to wait until Australia is done building 'em.

Chinese state media has warned Australia will become a 'potential target for a nuclear strike' after it acquires nuclear-powered submarines.

As part of a new three-way alliance with the UK and US, Australia will be given the technology to build at least eight nuclear-powered - but not nuclear armed - submarines as the West counters China's growing assertiveness in the Indo-Pacific region.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said the 'AUKUS' alliance 'seriously damages regional peace and stability, intensifies the arms race, and undermines the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.'

China has only 2 nuke attack subs & only 2 nuke ballistic missile subs....lol

In one fell swoop the Australians will have 4X more nuke attack subs than China

Love it!

By the way, the USA has 28 Los Angles class nuke attack subs, 3 Sea wolf-class nuke attack subs & 19 Virginia-class submarine nuke attack subs=50 nuke attack subs!

This is not counting our nuclear ballistic subs which carry nuclear missiles, we have 24 of these subs! China will NEVER catch up to us on this!

Just ONE Ohio class sub could destroy China, its armament: 24 × Trident I C4 SLBM with up to 8 MIRVed 100 ktTNT W76 nuclear warheads each, range 4,000 nmi . This equals 192 separate nuke missiles at 100 kilotons

China will NEVER overtake us in this category

In china's eyes Australia already belongs to them
The US and UK think it belongs to THEM
ordinary Australians think it belongs to them
Who is right?
Possession is all that matters. Right now it does belong to Australians but that could change very rapidly

Australia has been towing the line of the UK and USA it's whole existence.

It's about time the favour is returned.

My only issue is why the half-step? Why not go full nuclear power?

Anyways it's all just a game to these fellas.

What’s the big deal if it’s not even capable of launching Nukes and literally no country is afraid of these gooks who are now taking a page from North Korea and threaten to nuke anyone that does something they don’t like.

Where are the balls on these countries like Japan Australia and others that China has now threatened to nuke on a first strike basis and they still trade with this nation should be a world boycott against midgets

You can bet that these nuclear subs will be SLBM capable and most likely host US nuclear ballistic missiles. Otherwise there is very little point to making them in the first place.

Of course this will never be public knowledge much like Israel's arsenal.

We will have another order in shortly, in the next couple...I want more than that to police illegal fishing in southern waters....

Those particular substhough need only expel vast amounts of broken air right underneath a fishing boat who does not have permission to fish here.
It's a very quiet and effective way to take care of unwanted flotsam...I've heard they are already trialing a prototype to this....and have been for a while now...

Navy can target practice till then, as a training exercise...or any average cobber who comes from here, who is in the mood....

We don't tolerate bullies. Under any circumstances.

There is always a cost.

I was quite frightened for the chinese man who said those things in the news about this country....but then I got busy..living in my own country again and forgot he even existed...

I hope they have like 300 nukes per sub. If they fire all 300, one might hit a truffle farm in Tazmania. At least 10 of them will blow up in the tubes.

Seize Australia by force LOL.

The country is massive and most of it is arid land, good luck marching any armies through that, but before you even reach the mainland you have to sail there first and this is something they are just not capable of not to mention all the enemies they need to face before even coming close to OZ.

Absolutely and positively never gonna happen.
