What is MORE ADDICTIVE... the INTERNET or HEROIN?

Have you ever woke up on the street thinking about doing something you'd normally find repulsive or harmful to your health aside from the fact that living on the street itself isn't exactly good for you, just so you could afford to pay your cable bill so you could make a stupid thread oh GLP asking stupid questions?

Stop using the internet and see if any of the following happens:

stomach cramps
diarrhea
sweating
chills
yawning
restless legs
literally not sleeping for days to the point of hallucinating
diarrhea changes to just pissing out of your ass
vomiting
runny nose
anxiety/depression to the point you wonder if its easier to die

once withdrawals end - sometimes up to a month.. then you get Post-acute withdrawals

no energy to do anything
depression
never feeling back to "pre-drug use" feeling..brain so m

knowing that something no bigger than a pea will make it all go away and at minimum make you feel "normal" you've altered the way you experience pleasure and NOTHING feels good or makes you happy..sure you can force smiles or you can have brief moments but they are short-lived. so you do the best you can usually working to repair the financial damage until you relapse or die. The whole time you know what fix this feeling of emptiness but it comes with too many consequences...So you keep on until things get better or you get too down and kill yourself



IF any of that happens when you stop the internet..then you're lying. haha

to quit heroin for me it took prison (which included no internet..which i didnt really even miss after very short time)

I've never been a day without the internet after my 19th year. But I don't have a heroin addiction. My favorite ISP is my neighbors. But the neighbors selling heroin for eternal to stretcher bliss is far to expensive for my budgets.

I went an entire year without the internet seven years ago. I have never had socialist media and GLP is the only site I've found consistently interesting over the years. I like to come here in spurts, sometimes going away for months or even a year or two at a time. But ever since the fuckery of the past ten months or so I been cumming here a lot because fuck knows nobody else out in the real world strikes me as anything other than irreversibly brainwashed (by the internet coupled with pharmaceutical drugs).

Porn is insanely addictive though. Hadn't thought of it till a few minutes later.

Well I can't get heroin without the internet...so I go with internet

Yup. Only did H once, never again. I did however spend 17 years on anywhere from 60 to 400mg of Oxycodone a day, mostly PRESCRIBED TO ME. It was a bitch to get off. Experienced all of the above and have permanent RLS because of it. But it was prescription...can't possibly hurt me, right? I spent 2 years understanding why Kurt blew his brains out. But for the grace of God.

Internet does not do that, but I am addicted to it. First thing I do in the morning, last thing I do at night. So goodnight Internet see you @0530
