Or they can go on to home care or other things that aren’t requiring the jab. Or just take some time off and regroup. Just don’t let someone make you do something you don’t want to. this will be happening in every town and city across America because healthcare workers are being fired for not taking the Jab, Stevie Wonder could see this was coming with the vax mandate, Hospitals thought their employees would give in and they are not, many are dug in for the long haul, as many have said here if you don't want the jab go work somewhere else and that is exactly what they are doing and in droves, if this Mandate holds it will take years to get qualified replacements, it will be the cause of many deaths for the lack of beds and proper care do to under staffing!

NHS England have been doing that since 1999 and so have medicare receiving US hospitals. Where have you been? All the while, RN's have been fighting and begging for safe staffing laws and it never happens because government doesn't want to use tax revenue to pay for safe staffing levels. That is why if you are in the hospital on multiple drips and barely breathing you are going to be sharing your nurse with 8 other patients screaming at her and accusing her of ignoring them over stupid stuff. And they won't give a thought to the fact that they could kill you as they get in her face wanting customer service.

In the US now, it is 8 or 9 patients per nurse even if 5 of them are so critical that she has to be in their room at all times. Hospital management and government cap nurse numbers there. This is why everyone quits. This started long before covid.

I don’t wish harm on anyone but what can you do. I tell kids all the time don’t take opioids and shoot up heroin but many still do. They think they know better and it is specifically that hubris that kills them off.

if the Nurse is lucky it will be 8, my guess is that it's more then 10 now and growing, this will not end well for anyone including the burned out staff doing 12 hour shifts!

There aren’t enough military to even run 5% of our nation’s hospitals I’m afraid. If you took every single military personnel in all 6 branches of the military and assigned them to hospitals (which they can’t and won’t) they wouldn’t even be able to run but a few percent of them. If they even knew how.

The goal is to totally collapse the medical system so there is zero care while the vaccinated die off. Just to let them die.

They have capping down allowed RN numbers for years in hospitals while turfing ICU patients onto medsurg floors. We are up to 8 or 9 patients per nurse and no tech or help. Every nurse is drowning and there are no more extra or float nurses. When staff leave, the hospital only hires a fraction of the number that left.

Last night I had 10 on my medsurg floor. All on cardiac tele, three insulin drips. Most of them incontinent and dead weight and obese. Two heparin gtts. Multiple IV abx. Five were confused and pulling out there lines. No more one to one attendants either.

I ran for 14 hours without food and water and barely stayed on top of the critical stuff. Impossible to do documentation. Patients are filthy and lying in their own waste, no one to help them eat.

Years and and years ago it was only 4 patients per nurse on telemetry units and insulin and cardizem drips had to be on higher level.

Every call RNs make to management begging for help gets ignored and every report RNs make to government agencies gets ignored. Much of this has to do with people not grasping the importance of an RN. You can have the best doctor in the world but you will die if your nurse is overloaded and misses something because she is the one implementing all of your critical tasks.

This has been going on long before covid, and now they are using covid as an excuse to take us down to even lower numbers.

The patients and families are abusive towards the overstretched nurse. Military won't put up with this shit.

Hospital policy changed at the beginning of covid to stop clinicians from having nebs and non invasive ventilation because "it could spread around the covid virus". We fought to get it back.

@ AC 80510395, you see it, i see it and many others do too, Mr Potato head and his handlers will see it very soon too, this unfortunately could be what it take for the people to wake up and see the Emperor has no clothes on or a working brain either! It's what big Government does with everything they touch, eff it up!

I listen to the same from my Wife after every shift, she just did 5 12's on Mother/Baby because of the lack of staffing, they were also very short staffed even before Covid and now... well it's just crazy, i really don't see how you guy's and Gals do it shift after shift.

Yes and they will all be labelled covid positive with that faulty and proven to be a joke PCR test.

We are also losing many RNs due to physical assaults from family members and patients who are enraged that the RN they are sharing with 9 critical patients isn't functioning as their own personal service person. We are so short-staffed that we are not allowed to go down to the ER for treatment unless we lose consciousness. That is because there are no extra RNs to pick up your section so you can leave.

The weapon of choice among family members seems to be dinner drays and IV poles. Security is short staffed so they will not help much and of course management won't come to the front lines and support the nurse. They are telling the public to judge their nurse on customer service and goofy emotional stuff.

Not condoning the vax Mandate here at all because i think it's wrong but the Hospitals want all staff Vaxxed but i have heard nothing on Visitors being vaccinated? it's all ass backwards and makes no sense imo.

Nothing is done about the violence coming from patients and families who are not getting "customer service" from an RN they are sharing with 9 critical patients. We press charges we lose the job.
