I find this thread very interesting and will save in my favorites. I like hearing perspectives that aren’t mainstream or based on “science.” I hope I might offer my own via tarot? I’ll ask tonight about it and post results. I have no other place to put it but here. I think this is as best a place as any.
Update: so I pulled the moon card for what’s going to happen with La Palma. I’m having trouble interpreting it on a geological level but the imagery of the moon card is a tidal wave with a tiny crab crawling away. Also a dog howling at a full moon. Imgur won’t let me post the image for another 5,000 seconds, sorry. I’m thinking this means whatever happens there will coincide with the full moon. Or the worst will express itself with “full moon.” The card warns on a personal level that your negative imaginings are not based totally in reality. I’m going to go with nothing happening to us here in the U.S. Not letting fears get the best of us. Illogical fears maybe?

Look for events to change on the full moon this month. I think it’s the 20th.
When I pressed further for, “what’s going to happen on the 20th” I got the 5 of pentacles which represents financial loss and poverty. So something bad is coming but it’s looking more economic than anything cataclysmic. It also represents a “lacking” mindset where there’s been some kind of financial upheaval or ruin, yes, but you’re failing to see the blessings like your health and your home and family, things like that. So temporary catastrophic $ losses. Waiting for someone to save you & no one coming. It could even be some type of banking crash or stock market crash. Maybe computers or internet goes down for a long time. It’s something where it’ll seem worse than it is. It’ll be bad but you’ll survive if you see & remember your blessings. There’s imagery of a barefoot guy sleeping outside under a thin blanket. He’s failed to see the warm light of the church nearby which he could go in, it would offer him shelter, but he’s blinded by his own situation.

I like hearing other perspectives. That’s a cool-looking deck you got there. I’m learning as I go but have gotten to a place now where there is a full-on connection 100% of the time with whatever is coming through the readings. It is just a matter now of understanding the language. I figured out that anything can be read*, not just tarot but anything. Especially using Gematria & i-Ching, which i think tarot is a derivative of. Oh, one last thing I forgot to mention. Whatever it is that happens, it’s going to get really, really cold during this time. Expect an intense winterlike situation.
