Probably PCP. Did it once in a joint with 4 other girls in the "Toke Box" (Dodge Dart) and had to stop driving. Got out and the curbs were like 14 inches high. Had to walk over them like the guy from Keep on Trucking.

There used to be $15 and $20 full ounce "working weed". Two or three guys would smoke a jay and be able to function adequate in their work with a buzz. Not slammed and torn apart like the strong stuff even of the 70's.

The Panama red was 3-4 hits and you were non-functional for about 6 hours except for tunes and munchies. $200/oz

Why do so many people think "today's pot" is "GMO"? It's so ignorant. And if you want 70's strains why don't you just order some seeds containing those strains genetics? This shit is not that hard to understand.

The THC is higher now but it doesn't fuck you up the same.


The reason for this is a lot of the heavy skunk strains were bred to be less oderferous in the 90-2000s to make grows harder to smell from a distance.


However, there is a movement to breed some very old heirloom seeds back into the current lines.


It's quite tricky getting a seed that old to sprout with cannabis but with a little luck and a few seeds, one will sprout.


You only need one male or female to breed the dna into new lines as you can harvest pollen from either by flipping the sex of a female to make pollen.


You then take the pollen and can breed it into modern strains.

No, todays pot it top notch and tested for everything.



The issue is some good strains were bred out or lost pre legalization. If you have some seeds from some killer old strains, they may have a lot of value.

Let me tell you what caused the change that these people think is because of "GMO's". In the 70's almost all weed was imported from tropical climes. These tropical strains were invariably sativa. In the 80's there was an explosion of indoor growing prompting a shift to more managable indica plants with their stockier shape and shorter flowering time. That's it.
