I just got Covid from 1 of my hospice patients. The family didn’t tell me they had it, I was in caring for her and gave her a breathing treatment. I aerosolized it in the room and caught it. I started having symptoms on Friday, about 2pm. By 8pm I had 103.5 fever, difficulty breathing, pounding heart, HR 120-130, my whole body hurt so much I couldn’t move. I called my doctor to ask for therapeutics, none are available and to wait it out and I get worse, go to the hospital. At 9pm I took the first dose of ivermectin. I slept on and off that night. My husband and child were very worried for me. Husband said I was moaning in my sleep all night. I woke up at 5am on Saturday morning. I felt so much better. I could breath, no temp, and my body aches went down by 75%.
We are deliberately not treating Covid with therapeutics that work. As a nurse, this is just awful.
