Ignoring that if they weren't so old and sick in the first place, the Virus wouldn't infect and spread so widely in their body. OP is technically right that a higher % of double-vaxxed people died than unvaxxed in the sample set of people whose was "sequenced and genotyped". However, OP's analysis has two flaws, one minor and one very major. The minor is that there may be some selection criteria on who gets "sequenced and genotyped". It may not be random. For example, if you have a breakthrough case, they might always sequence and genotype just to see why a double vaxxed person is sick. So the data set might not be random. But there is a much more important and bigger flaw. This is a count of total deaths with a positive COVID test, which is not the same as dying of COVID. The vast majority of very elderly, frail people and people with co-morbidities are vaxxed. These people are also likely to die. Because the percentage of people vaxxed is so high among this vulnerable population, it is always going to push up the fatality rate for vaxxed. Compare that to numbers for less than 50 years age. Vaxxed: 199K cases, 72 deaths: 0.036% Unvaxxed: 248K cases, 132 deaths: 0.053% So arguably, the vaccine creates some protection for younger people. The risk is so low to start with and the increased protection is so minimal, that I still don't understand why anyone would take the vaccine, but OP's statement that vaxxed are "twice as likely to die" is only because people who are very old or very frail are almost all vaxxed. Then you need to include the severe adverse events for the under 50 years. Oh wait, there are no severe adverse events from being unvaccinated? HMMMMMMM. I agree with you. I don't think anyone under 50 should take the vax unless severe co-morbidities. My point was it is wrong to claim 2x or 4x more deaths from double vaxxed, since the double vaxxed are more likely to die anyway. The jab sellers and mandaters don't care about age. They want to jab babies before they're even born (through the mother). They will use age to parse statistics to claim the jab is effective, yet they don't consider age at all when pushing and mandating the jab. There is no integrity, it is all lies and scams. |
