We had a paramedic at one service I worked for years ago who was this big karate expert. Always talking all Zen. How he was in control.

He fucks up in the field, really bad. I mean, cluster fuck up. And he goes out in the ambulance bay and flips out. Starts busting stuff up.

The EMS director sends one of the female EMTs to the break room to grab me. I run out and he's kicking and punching a supervisor while everyone just stands their afraid because this shit talking 'karate master'.

Well, Bob's your uncle he had no answer for a double leg and a knee on his chest. Later he was telling me, "I'm glad we are friends and the sight of you helped me re-center. I wouldn't have wanted to hurt you."

I'm glad he didn't hurt me either! I was terrified.

I was in the restaurant industry for a decade - they actually encouraged us to drink (a little, not too much).

I carried that over to corporate life. I was surprised AF that nobody ever said anything. Like, how can they not know?

Anyway, I'm the kind of person that needs to just work for myself. But I'm laughing at these videos, I so understand the frustration....

The guy threw stuff at him three times on video. I doubt that was the first time. But my favorite part is how no one else puts down their phones or even seems to look over there. Maybe everyone hates the guy he’s wailing on. No one seems worried they’ll be next.

The industrial printer/scanner machine(s) - it rules your life when you're a corporate worker bee.

Owners and CEOs never seemed to understand how important these thing are, and that they work. Comms are VERY important.

But, companies are dumb. We'd have a machine that fucked up constantly, and you had to call a guy to come out and it would take at least two days to get it fixed.

I ended up setting up my own home office so I could conduct business, but that really wasn't my responsibility.
