A chaotic brawl has erupted outside CFMEU headquarters after hundreds of people showed up to protest mandatory vaccinations for construction workers.


Union boss John Setka tried to calm the crowd down but retreated inside when the demonstration turned violent.

Staff locked themselves inside the building after a scuffle broke out and the situation escalated.


Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews slammed the violent demonstration, saying the rally “will not work”.

The Premier described the rally as an illegal gathering, paving the way for fines or arrests.

The industry could now face further restrictions or even closure after the Victorian government revealed 73 per cent of construction sites breaking rules, with the majority of non-compliance


The angry construction workers yelled obscenities at union officials before wrestling and throwing projectiles.

Some workers screamed at Mr Sekta, calling him a “snake” and other slurs, before he retreated inside.

Others yelled about mandatory vaccine requirements while alluding to the Covid-19 pandemic being a “conspiracy”.

The protestors yelled out “f**k the jab” as police watched on and controlled traffic.

Good on em! John Setka must have copped a grilling from Dan Andrews after Fridays demonstrations as he was backing them then. Andrews realizes if he gives the construction industry even an inch the whole mandatory vax push goes down the toilet.

Interesting times over the next few days, a vast majority of the public looks upon the construction industry as being selfish about this whole fiasco as they have continued to be allowed to work throughout the lockdowns, mindless sheep dont see what's actually at play here!

No one gives a fuck anymore. They can take their fines and their laws and shove them up their ass. These cunts want to start war.

They were going to lynch the union bosses..they had to close the doors to escape..just heard there marching down to parliament....not one cop has gone in to break it up..unlike saturday at the protest..this is being done for a reason..
