I was just coming to this...
Here's my theory in a nutshell.
I read two creation stories. The first beings were beings of light, existing in their light bodies. There was a catastrophic event, then we see the second creation story.
The second beings were made in the images of the gods. There were 70 gods who ruled over 70 nations. Yahweh created and ruled over the people who came to be known as the yebrews in the nation of is ra el.. these gods are responsible for the many differences in what we call humanity today.
