Thanks for the links. Haven't seen the movie yet. I read the book after John Todd said to read it. He said it was the blueprint for the destruction of the USA.

The company in the book is a metaphor for the welfare system and is how they are going to bankrupt the USA. A brother and sister bought a company and instead of paying people according to their ability, intelligence and production, they instead paid them according to want. Whoever came up with the best sob story each week got paid the most.

Quickly the best workers left. Then the company was left with an inferior workforce that couldn't get the job done, and the company went bankrupt. Such is currently taking place with the welfare, affirmative action and NEW AGE "quota" jobs.

Also, Ayn Rand portrays herself as the heroine in the book, as a fit, attractive, sexy, smart and likable person. Ayn Rand was an ugly troll. She was the mistress of one of the Rothschilds, who gave Ayn the ideas to write about.

Her other well-known book Fountainhead can be summed as "some people matter, and some don't". Those who don't are your slaves and cannon fodder.

In the Greek Mythos, Atlas was the titan/demigod who held the Earth between his shoulders. Atlas Shrugged means that Atlas has cast aside the Earth. Rand was a Satanist and obviously, so are the Rothschilds.

Edward Younkins describes Atlas Shrugged as "an apocalyptic vision of the last stages of conflict between two classes of humanity—the looters and the non-looters. The looters are proponents of high taxation, big labor, government ownership, government spending, government planning, regulation, and redistribution".

In today's world, interpreting Atlas shrugged, the looters would be the criminals that are creating the fake pandemic and pushing the vaccines. The ones going Galt are the ones quitting their jobs just to avoid the vaccines.

What an idiotic summary of the book. There are so many stupid things in your post, I don't even know where to begin!?

I made my "retirement" and logged out.

I pay no taxes, not even property taxes.

If people spent as much time learning how to break their system, and use it to their advantage, as they do bitching about it.. we would not be here.

How did you manage not paying property tax?

I consulted with well established, large market real estate attorneys in TX discussing this topic inclusive of alloidal title, and the net was: pay your property taxes or live in/move to a jurisdiction where one is exempt from property taxes after a certain age.

What was your process?

When I was in my 20s I placed an ad in the singles section of the classifieds that started with, "Who is John Galt?" If you know, maybe we have more in common!

Not sure where I erred. You are more than welcome to add something to the thread. It is easy and tough to be a key board warrior calling others stupid. Of course, those who offer no response have no response. No surprise that you are an AC.

This year I've entertained thoughts about living in an Amish based community not to join their religion but to be near people living closer to the land.

A couple of decades ago, a lengthy trip to Bali shifted my worldview. I spent a couple weeks where communities are (were) centered around first practicing their religion in daily life whereby they strived not to create negative karma for fear they would be forced to return to future incarnations here. Ha! Don't blame them.

The second focus was on the family and the third, the community. At the time, they lived very close to the land, and each community/village structure was centered around one craft (silversmithing, batik fabric weaving and creation, basket weaving, stone carving, wood furniture, etc). The elders were master craftsmen with stunning hand skills and few power tools, and they were responsible for teaching the youth.

Prior to the experience and following, I've never been amongst a group of people so happy, fulfilled and grateful.

When I was reinserted into the US and all the corporate and consumer bullshit, I sat on the couch and physically wept. I never returned to the corporate life but consulted instead and spent a significant amount of years caring for family members. Now, I want to live closer to the land...and away from mentally ill people.

I appreciate and applaud your family and the decisions you made.
